Plans have been submitted for a new four-storey hotel in the car park of the Canny Man's pub in Edinburgh.
The proposals would see a 12-bedroom hotel built on Canaan Lane, behind the property on Morningside Road, as well as two ground floor short-term let apartments.
The applicant, Kerr Pubs and Hotels, which own the pub and the nearby Lane Hotel, wish to make use of its car park, stating that many of the customers do not travel to either establishment using a car.
