It's official - the party has started for Pink's UK fans, as her Summer Carnival tour kicked off on Wednesday night, meaning there are now just days before the music megastar arrives in Sunderland.
Fans of the singer responsible for smash hits like Who Knew, What About Us and Just Like A Pill, got very excited last year, when she announced that she'd be returning to British soil for the first time in a while for a series of huge outdoor shows. And one of the venues on the list was the Stadium of Light, a venue she has packed out in the past.
The tour arrives hot on the heels of the release of Pink's latest album, Trustfall with its title track behind heralded as one of the pop songs of the year so far, while album tracks like Runaway have been instant favourites with fans across the world. Pink's support acts for Sunderland were announced earlier this year, with the main one being The Script - a choice that has delighted many ticket holders.
