Piers Morgan fans outraged at full clip of 'manipulated' Trump interview 'walk out'

Piers Morgan fans were left asking questions as his new TV show Piers Morgan Uncensored aired the second half of his interview with Donald Trump on Tuesday evening.

The former President of the United States sat down with the 57-year-old presenter in a pre-recorded chat, which saw him take aim at Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle and share occasional barbs with his interviewer.

But ahead of the interview, Trump had slammed the show for releasing what he called "rigged" preview clips to show him walking out, which Piers finally cleared up on Tuesday by airing the end of the interview in full.

The clip showed the pair discussing Trump’s recent hole-in-one on the golf course, with the former President’s staff becoming increasingly agitated behind the camera at the length of the interview.

The final moments of the interview showed the pair finish the chat relatively amicably, with a handshake and smiles, only for Trump to stand up and mutter “very dishonest” after asking the cameras to be turned off.

After the matter had finally been cleared up, TalkTV viewers were left concluding that Trump had not walked off the set as viewers had been led to believe in the lead-up to the show’s premiere.

One wrote: “So Trump didn’t storm off then, did he…”

Another chimed: “So now we’ve seen the whole thing … Trump didn’t walk off Piers Morgan interview.”

Another posted asking: “So Trump didn’t actually walk out on Piers at all?”

A fellow social media user wrote: “Well Trump was correct for once and I bite my lip and bang my head on the wall saying this.”

Another concluded: “Trump and Piers lived happily ever after.”

Piers, who is heading up the flagship show on the brand new TV channel TalkTV as part of a rumoured £50 million three-year deal, opened the show’s debut outing, Piers launched into a blistering opening monologue lambasting "cancel culture".

Peppered through the initial comments were a series of barbs directed at Harry and Meghan.

The launch of Piers Morgan Uncensored comes just over a year after the TV presenter shocked the nation by storming off a live broadcast of ITV ’s Good Morning Britain.

The Marmite presenter marched out of the studio after a heated clash with weather presenter Alex Beresford over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Ofcom received more than 41,000 complaints after Piers claimed he “didn't believe” Meghan was telling the truth while discussing her “suicidal” thoughts.

When Alex slammed Piers for his "absolutely diabolical" behaviour, his rival dramatically walked out saying he was "done with this", although he did later return to the live show.

This led to a series of events which ended with Piers leaving his role on GMB.
