Phoenix captain Rufer signs on to stay at ALM home

Wellington Phoenix captain Alex Rufer says he may become one of the rarest beasts in world football - a one-club player - after signing a three-year contract extension at the A-League Men club.

Rufer, 26, will play on into his second decade with the Phoenix with the deal, that takes him to 2026.
