Phillip Schofield's latest social media post has shed some light on his extended Christmas break from This Morning. Fans of ITV's popular daytime show were left baffled earlier this week when they were greeted by stand-in hosts Andi Peters and Josie Gibson.

Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby haven't presented a live edition of This Morning since December 9 last year and viewers have been wondering where they are. An Instagram post from the 60-year-old presenter's official Instagram account revealed he has been seeing in the new year in Denmark's capital city, Copenhagen.

Meanwhile, Holly has shared her plans for the new year and said she'll be prioritising family walks in 2023. The pair endured a difficult 2022 amid rumours of tension off camera and public criticism over accusations they jumped the queue to see the Queen's coffin in September.
