Viewers tuning in to Thursday's (December 1) episode of This Morning were shocked to see that Phillip Schofield was sat by himself on the sofa. He quickly explained to viewers the reason for co-host Holly Willoughby's absence.
He said: "You may notice that someone is missing. That’s because Holly is busy doing something that parents up and down the country can relate to." Phillip revealed that Holly had sat out on the ITV show because it was her son Chester's, 7, nativity play.
Later on, Holly chatted to Phillip via video link from outside Chester's school and described her excitement at seeing him perform. She shares two other children - Harry, 12, and Belle, 10, with her husband Dan Baldwin.
