Phillip Schofield revealed he called co-star Holly Willoughby to ask her 'what is going to happen' before he came out as gay on live television.

The This Morning presenter revealed his sexuality on his social media in February 2020. Holly also posted in support of him.

Minutes later, he and Holly made an emotional joint appearance on their day off on This Morning, surrounded by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
