Trent Farquhar is the latest Spartan to get a contract from an MLB organization, joining three fellow teammates who were drafted in the 2023 MLB Entry Draft.
After going undrafted, the Phillies have inked a deal with the Spartan infielder as a non drafted free agent.

Farquhar had a career year with the Spartans, batting .343 and a .936 OPS. He will look to make an impact from day one when he starts with the Phillies minor league organization.
