The PFL’s return is right around the corner.
On Monday, the promotion announced the dates, locations and division assignments for its 2022 regular season, which will be split into a first half taking place at Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas, and a second half at a venue to be determined in Atlanta. Each event’s prelims will stream on ESPN+, with various main cards airing on ESPN or ESPN2. Fans can purchase tickets for the three events in Arlington on Tuesday.
Here are the announced details for each PFL regular season event in 2022:
- PFL 1, lightweights and light heavyweights, Wednesday, April 20, 5:30 and 9 p.m. ET (ESPN+/ESPN), Esports Arena in Arlington, Texas
- PFL 2, featherweights and heavyweights, Thursday, April 28, 5:30 and 9 p.m. ET (ESPN+/ESPN2), Esports Arena in Arlington, Texas
- PFL 3, welterweights and women’s lightweights, Friday, May 6, 5:30 and 9 p.m. ET (ESPN+/ESPN2), Esports Arena in Arlington, Texas
- PFL 4, lightweights and light heavyweights, Friday, June 17, 6:30 and 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+/ESPN), venue TBD in Atlanta
- PFL 5, featherweights and heavyweights, Friday, June 24, 5:30 and 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+/ESPN), venue TBD in Atlanta
- PFL 6, welterweights and women’s lightweights, Friday, July 1, 4:30 and 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+/ESPN), venue TBD in Atlanta
2022 marks the third year of the PFL, which will see fighters compete in regular season fights looking to earn points in hopes of advancing to the playoffs and a shot at the $1 million grand prize.
This season will be highlighted by the return of two-time women’s lightweight champion Kayla Harrison, who recently re-signed with the promotion on a lucrative, multiyear deal after exploring free agency.
Divisional rosters and matchups for the season will be announced at a later date.
