A magnificent seven Celtic players have made the cut in the PFA Team of the Year for 22/23.
Ange Postecoglou's champions are eyeing a Treble and their dominant efforts are reflected in the selections over the season. Joe Hart, Greg Taylor, Cameron Carter–Vickers, Carl Starfelt, Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate and Kyogo all make the XI but one surprise omission is star winger Jota.. There is only room for four players outside Glasgow's east end with Motherwell marksman Kevin Van Veen and Aberdeen star Duk Lopes also earning selections.
There was a double nod for Rangers with skipper James Tavernier making the cut and Bayern Munich loanee Malik Tillman also nabbing berths in the starting XI – as doubt remains what comes next for the playmaker after returning to Bavaria for treatment following a hamstring injury suffered in the Scottish Cup semi final against Celtic.
