Tommy Sloan believes his Auchinleck Talbot big guns are making it easy for their rivals after dropping two points in the West of Scotland League Premier Division title race.
Talbot had taken the lead through Chris Stafford on Saturday but Jack McKenna wiped out the deficit before the break as Peasy finally got off the mark in the top flight.
And Beechwood boss Sloan told Ayrshire Football News: "I've no complaints with the result and I thought they reacted a lot better than us at times to different situations in the game.
"We were a bit stand-offish at times and it wasn't until the second half that it was a bit better. I think we're too easy to play against, we've told them that, and we'll look at it during the week.
"I'm not questioning effort but we need to react better on the pitch. We can't always look to pass the ball. In the first hour, they were sharper to second balls and that's disappointing for me.
"Petershill is always a tough place to come and we've never had an easy match up here. We will work at training this week but it is more to do without the ball than with the ball at this moment."
McKenna struck the bar for the hosts in the seventh minute before Ross Taylor missed a sitter at the other end as Talbot searched for the opener.
In the 29th minute, Peasy full-back Jordan Scott nodded over an Eddie Ferns corner and Talbot responded with Jamie Glasgow denied by keeper Steven McNeil.
Talbot made the breakthrough in the 42nd minute when Stafford jinked into the box from the right, deceived McNeil and slotted the ball into the far corner of the net.
However, Peasy equalised with McKenna touching the ball in off the post from a Ferns cross. In truth, it was no less than what the hard-working home side deserved.
It was difficult to watch at times but Talbot had the best two chances in the second half. Substitute Michael Wardrope curled a shot against the woodwork in the 74th minute.
With three minutes remaining, Aaron Mason and Wardrope combined to tee up striker Bryan Boylan but the substitute blazed over as Talbot ended the afternoon deeply frustrated.
