PSV Eindhoven boss Peter Bosz has revealed he's aiming for a unique treble over Rangers, while former Ibrox target Joey Veerman is gunning for revenge.
Rangers face the Dutch cracks next week in the play-off round for the Champions League with the Scottish side at home in the first leg before a challenging trip to the Netherlands.
And Bosz will try to become the first manager ever to mastermind wins over Rangers in European competition with three different clubs.
Bosz was in charge of Bayer Leverkusen in a Covid-interrupted Round of 16 clash in the 2019/20 Europa League and beat Rangers home and away to qualify.
And in the 2021/22 Europa League group stages, Bosz was in charge of Lyon when they beat Rangers 2-0 at Ibrox, although he was sacked a month later before the return game in France which finished 1-1.
He said: "I've beaten Rangers twice with Leverkusen and Lyon so it's not a case of revenge for me.
"I haven't watched them yet. I know they drew 1-1 with Sevette and that wouldn't have been an easy game for them.
"Our focus now is only on our next game against Vitesse Arnhem and then I will speak to my chief scout John Feskens about what to expect from Rangers.
"Even when we lost the opening goal against Sturm Graz, there was no panic. I never felt we would be in danger because we had plenty of possession.
"And anyway, we soon scored a great goal."
But Dutch international Veerman - who snubbed Rangers' interest to move to PSV from Heerenveen in January last year - admits he's desperate to put one over the Ibrox side after they lost at the same stage last season 3-2 on aggregate.
He said: "We are out for revenge of course. That was a nice atmosphere last year at Ibrox. Rangers also play very physical football. We have to be prepared for that, but we are doing really well this season.
"And here in Austria, I think we were really too big a club for Sturm Graz. It was an equal game until I equalised and then really we were by far the better side."
