Peter Andre gushed over his wife Emily and said that her "tough" love has helped him to deal with his anxiety.
Pete, who married Emily in 2015, said having a wife who works as an NHS doctor has worked wonders for his mental health.
In his latest OK! column, Peter explained how he couldn't be a hypochondriac with Emily around.
"The good thing is that you know when anything serious happens she’ll know what to do, but the flip side is that you can’t be a hypochondriac because if you complain the answer is: ‘You’ll be fine, get on with it!’", he wrote.
“But that tough love has helped me quite a bit with my anxiety in the past. Sometimes when I’ve felt really anxious Emily knows exactly what to say and she’s helped me rationalise and understand things.”
He was writing about his worries over the Strep A outbreak which has killed 16 children across the UK.
Pete, who has four children, said how the infection has been "worrying" as a parent.
The singer did say that it has been "comforting" to hear reports from doctors who say that it is still "very rare" that children who get Strep A will die - but added that any child's death is a "tragedy".
"I think we just have to keep an eye on our children and be very vigilant about the symptoms such as a rash and fever,” he added.
Emily and Peter's house was hit by a sickness bug, and his daughter Princess, 15, who he shares with Katie Price, has been poorly with tonsillitis.
Peter, 49, recently shared a video of his garden, showing off his private bar in the snow.
Adding the tune "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas", Peter gave fans a tour of the back garden of his multi-million pound mansion in Surrey.
In one corner of the garden was a grey wooden bar with wicker chairs in the same colour.
A grey Union Jack was framed on the wall beside two large mirrored windows.
Earlier this year Pete gave fans a glimpse into his home, including his impressive winding staircase.
