Peter Andre has revealed eldest son Junior is set to play an important part when step mum Emily MacDonagh gives birth later this year.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 50, and doctor wife MacDonagh, 34, announced that they were expecting their third child together in October.
They are already proud parents to daughter Amelia, 10, and son Theo, seven, while Andre also shares Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price.
While he says that all of the kids were "buzzing" about getting a new sibling, Junior was a bit concerned about the 18-year age gap.
Speaking to The Standard at an exclusive preview of The Butterfly Ball @ Fantasia 3 in aid of Caudwell Children, he said: Junior was really worried because of the age gap, but now he’s like literally can’t wait and he’s going to be on call!
"I told him around that time he’s going to be on call to come to the hospital as soon as Emily goes into labour."
Ahead of the birth, the two enjoyed some father-son bonding as they stepped out together at the lavish event held at billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist John Caudwell's Mayfair mansion.
Andre, along with his wife, are long-standing Caudwell Children ambassadors and have helped the charity raise millions of pounds to support disabled children and their families.
He said he was proud to be able to bring his son along, who has also got involved with some of the charity's initiatives in the past.
First launched in 2007, the Butterfly Ball has become one of the most successful philanthropic events in the UK, raising over £25million for the charity and featuring famous names such as Sir Elton John, Whitney Houston and Sir Rod Stewart.
This year's event is set to take place on March 23 and will be held in partnership with floral artist Amie Bone and luxury events planner Melanie Helen from Cranberry Blue Events under the banner Butterfly Ball @ Fantasia 3. Tickets are strictly limited and by application only. Follow @ccbutterfyball on Instagram for updates and to apply for tickets.
