Peter Andre has given an update on how pregnant wife Emily MacDonagh is doing after experiencing a health scare last month.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 50, is expecting his fifth child and third with doctor MacDonagh, 34,In December, the Australian native revealed that he had to rush to be by MacDonagh's side in hospital just moments before he was due to go on stage.
Everything was thankfully ok and he says that his other half is taking her impending motherhood in her stride.
Speaking to The Standard at an exclusive preview of The Butterfly Ball @ Fantasia 3 in aid of Caudwell Children, he said; "Emily's great. She takes pregnancy in her stride, she’s brilliant.
"The thing is it really makes you respect a mum and what she has to go through. She has to do all of the work before the baby is born and I’m very hands on but there’s only so much I can do, you know, if she chooses to breast feed and everything I can only do so much, but she’s great."
They are already proud parents to daughter Amelia, 10, and son Theo, seven, while Andre also shares Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price.
Asked how the rest of their brood were feeling about getting a new brother or sister, he said they were "buzzing".
He was enjoying some father-son bonding time with eldest son Junior at the star-studded event held at billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist John Caudwell's Mayfair mansion.
Other famous faces included designers Jimmy Choo and Karen Millen.First launched in 2007, the Butterfly Ball has become one of the most successful philanthropic events in the UK, raising over £25million for the charity and featuring famous names such as Sir Elton John, Whitney Houston and Sir Rod Stewart.
This year's event is set to take place on March 23 and will be held in partnership with floral artist Amie Bone and luxury events planner Melanie Helen from Cranberry Blue Events under the banner Butterfly Ball @ Fantasia 3.
