Peter Andre and his family are staying clear of one side of their mansion after it was struck by lightning.
The Mysterious Girl singer said that most of the damage to the house was above his daughter Millie and son Theo's rooms and that they are currently being repaired.
The house was hit while Peter's wife Emily and the kids were away, but the singer and his daughter Princess were in the house at the time.
Writing in his column for OK! magazine, he said that he had a lazy week planned, but things haven't worked out that way.
"I hoped for a week of lie-ins while Emily was in Mexico with the kids, but our house was hit by lightning and we’ve been having repairs done!" he wrote.
"Then I saw bricks falling out the window. Princess was really shaken by it but the main thing is that she’s OK. That was my first and only concern.
"The damage is predominantly above Millie and Theo’s bedrooms so we are staying away from that side of the house. I’m not sure what we’re going to do when they get home - hopefully it’ll be fixed by then," he added.
Princess, who he shares with his ex wife Katie Price, was in the kitchen and screamed when the house was struck.
Pete was in the living room and described it as the "loudest noise ever" and said the whole room went bright white.
The blast was so strong that the house shook and bricks from the roof and chimney flew off.
Standing outside in the storm last week, Pete took a video of the damage and added the caption: "Our house just got struck by lightning. The loudest thing I’ve ever heard.
"Alarms going off. This is mad. Thank god princess is ok. Although don’t know what was louder , her scream or the roof."
Emily, who is currently in Mexico with Theo and Amelia, added the comment: "I’m just so glad you are all ok. Typical the one week I am away this happens xxx"
Pete recently snubbed his former wife Katie after she cropped him out of a photo of him and the kids at the Pride of Britain Awards.
Hitting back, he shared the same photo but just of him, adding the song All By Myself by Celine Dion.

At the awards, Princess and Junior spoke of their dreams to one day be on I'm A Celeb - just like their parents.
Junior said: "I think we have to do that! To represent. We came from the jungle, didn’t we?"
Princess added: "It would actually be good to go on there, knowing both our parents were on there, that’s how they met."
