Pete Doherty, frontman of The Libertines and formerly of Babyshambles, has become a father again.
The rocker’s wife Katia de Vidas confirmed the news on social media on Sunday after she gave birth to their baby girl — who is their first child together.
Doherty is already a father to son Astile, 19, with singer Lisa Moorish and daughter Aisling, 11, from a former relationship with South African model Lindi Hingston.
Taking to Instagram Stories, De Vidas shared a close-up of the newborn’s hospital wristband which stated she was born on May 31 in France.
Another image showed off the little girl’s impressive head of dark hair while cuddling her mother.
Doherty and De Vidas have been together for 12 years and got married in September 2021.
The musician originally announced that he and de Vidas were expecting a child while performing at a gig in Strasbourg last December.
During an interview with French magazine Society, the Normandy-based couple confirmed the child’s gender as a girl and said that they were forming “a solid and protective clan”.
Back in April, they posed for a series of loved-up online snaps.
In one, Doherty can be seen tenderly kissing De Vidas’ growing baby bump.
