Pete Davidson is "getting closer" to Kim Kardashian's family as Kanye West desperately bids to get back his estranged wife.
The Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, has been dating the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 41, since October and has recently came under fire from Ye who is trying to reunite his family.
However, it looks as though the Gold Digger rapper's efforts are going unnoticed as Pete continues to make inroads with his new partner's close-knit family.
According to E! Online, the budding romance has received an emphatic thumbs up from Kim's family and an insider says they "really like him".
The source said: "They just want Kim to be happy and he has made her very happy."
Their relationship comes almost a year since Kim filed for divorce from her husband of seven years.
And while Kanye, 44, has been public with his desire to win back Kim, he has also took a host of pop shots at her new man on Instagram in recent days.
In the since-deleted posts, Kanye had to warn his fans not to hurt Pete after Kim allegedly sent him a text saying his comments were putting the comic's well-being in danger.
He shared a pic of a man in a headlock and a text seemingly from Kim which read: "U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault."
Kanye captioned the Insta post: "Upon my wife's request please nobody do anything physical to Skete I'm going to handle the situation myself."
Despite later deleting all of his rants, Kim is said to have "fully checked out" of her marriage from the singer and only has eyes for Pete.
A pal told New magazine Kim and her family have grown to be fed up of Kanye’s wild antics.
The source said: "They don’t him back in Kim’s life, the past is the past. She doesn’t miss the drama he brought, and neither does her family.”
They further claimed the family think Kanye’s public displays of affection to try and win Kim back are just for show.
Meanwhile, Pete took it upon himself to follow up the singer's truckload of red roses to Kim with his own lavish display of affection.
He reportedly treated his girlfriend with an assortment of gifts after renting out the top floor of a luxury New York hotel on Valentine's Day.
According to Page Six, he rented out the top floor of the swanky Carlyle Hotel in New York and filled it with gifts and flowers.
