Pete Davidson's mum accidentally started a rumour that he's expecting a baby with girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
But that could be exactly what he wants.
Sources close to the Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, say he's always wanted to be a dad and definitely sees himself settling down with a wife.
An insider told Hollywood Life : "Pete is really happy with where things stand between them and he only wants to continue growing closer.
"Pete has always known he’s wanted to have kids and become a father one day. Even though some people might not take Pete seriously, he absolutely sees himself settling down with a wife and starting a family of his own.
"He knows Kim is completely self-sufficient and doesn’t need a man to provide for her."
And fans have already predicted that Pete could be set to pop the question to Kim, 41, very soon.
Pregnancy rumours started to swirl after Pete's mum Amy reacted to a fan who tagged her in a comment on a snap of Pete and Kim kissing in a car.
The fan wrote: "She will be pregnant with his child by the end of the year. @amyymarie118".
And Amy was clearly into the idea, replying with: "yayyyy!"
She's since deleted the comment, but not before fans saw it as confirmation that Kim is already pregnant.
One fan took to Reddit to say: "And I oop….Pete’s mum said she’s ready for the grand babies!"
Another pointed out that Pete previously got engaged to singer Ariana Grande after just four weeks of dating.
They wrote: "He love bombed Ariana ... & proposed. He’s love bombing Kim with tattoos & she’s falling for it. Kim marries literally anyone who asks her. Do you think Pete will propose to her soon?"
But another said: "I don’t think she will get married anytime soon, but I think we can argue that since she is a billionaire everyone will try and secure the bag with her. I guess she just has to be smart about her choices."
While another suggested to Kim: "Just get an iron-clad prenup."
Kim already shares kids North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two, with ex-husband Kanye West.
The Mirror has contacted Pete's representatives for comment.
