The Perth Platinum Jubilee Run planned for this weekend has been cancelled due to a low number of entries.

Organisers Still Going Strong made the announcement on Wednesday and apologised for the decision adding it will “reschedule a similar version” for later in 2022.

Fleet-footed runners were set to take part in the 5km run on Saturday afternoon, which would have started and finished on Tay Street.
