A man seen waving a claw hammer above his head during a disturbance on a Perth city street has been ordered to carry out community service.
Two witnesses spotted Paul Bonar wielding the weapon at the junction of Carnegie Place and Capercaillie Drive early one afternoon last August.
One witness said the 49-year-old also appeared to be walking towards another male seen in the street the same afternoon as if to threaten him.
