Here are your Manchester City headlines this Wednesday.
Guardiola reaction
Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City's Champions League win against Bayern Munich has taken 10 years off him after the Bundesliga champions played their part in a thrilling encounter. The 3-0 scoreline looked comfortable in the end City turned in a display that sent out a statement to the rest of the Champions League, but Bayern had their opportunities in a high-quality game. City will now head to Bavaria in control of the tie but with 20 minutes to go at the Etihad they led by just one goal, with Rodri scoring brilliantly in the first half.

Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland netted in the closing stages to add some gloss to the scoreline, but Guardiola admitted it had been an exhausting night and he was an animated presence on the touchline throughout. "It was not comfortable. Emotionally I'm destroyed," said Guardiola. "I have 10 more years [on me] today. It was so demanding game."
Silva on City difference
Bernardo Silva thanked Rodri for changing the course of their Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.
The visitors had given as good as they had received in the opening 25 minutes and Ruben Dias had just made two excellent interventions when Rodri lashed home the opening goal for Manchester City at the Etihad. The home team were spurred on by that goal and went on to dominate in a 3-0 victory that could have been much more were it not for a string of saves from the Bayern goalkeeper.
City were delighted to pick up such a resounding win ahead of the second leg next week in Munich. However, knowing that the scoreline could have been very different if Rodri had not stepped up when he did is enough for the squad to remain cautious about the return fixture.
"Big players in big games," said Bernardo. "He scored a very important goal because in that moment the game could have gone both ways so it gave us the advantage and changed the course of the game so well done to him.
