Pep Guardiola kicks bottle and hits coach in Leeds dugout before running over to apologise

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola accidentally kicked a bottle at a coach in the Leeds dugout during a moment of rage before sprinting over to apologise.

Guardiola's side were 3-1 up at the time, but had just passed up an opportunity to make it four when the perfectionist saw red and threw his plastic water bottle to the ground in his technical area.

Upon heading back to his seat in the dugout, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss kicked the bottle and then watched in horror as it flew towards the Leeds bench and appeared to strike someone on the side.

Mortified by what happened, Guardiola threw his hands to his head and ran over to the dugout to apologise to the coach.

The incident occurred in the second half of a humorous match for off-pitch clangers after Kyle Walker accidentally removed a camera from the Man City dugout before the break and then dumped it on the ground.

The England right-back's view of the match at Elland road was seemingly blocked by the camera, so Walker decided to take evasive action by moving the device.

However, Walker pulled too hard and detached the camera from the dugout before dumping it on the ground in front of him.

An Amazon Prime technician was spotted fixing the camera at half-time and returning it to the dugout.

Rodri opened the scoring for Man City just moments before the break in what was a tight first half against Leeds.

Erling Haaland proceeded to net a brace in the second half with Jack Grealish - who had been wasteful in the opening 45 minutes - providing both assists.
