People must wear masks while celebrating New Year: Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar

BELAGAVI: In response to the rising Covid-19 cases in certain countries, the Karnataka government has declared that masks will be required during New Year's celebrations. Health Minister K Sudhakar also stated that celebrations should be limited to 1 am on New Year's Day.

Regarding vaccination, the minister emphasized the importance of receiving booster doses and advised that high-risk individuals, including senior citizens, people with co-morbidities, pregnant women, and children, avoid crowded places.
