People are loving the 'scouse lad' who tried to get into Glastonbury

People have rushed to congratulate the "scouse lad" who is rumoured to have got into Glastonbury.

Yesterday the ECHO reported on a man with a Liverpool accent queuing to get into the Glastonbury festival site using a "40-year-old woman's" ticket after he turned up in a dress, blonde wig and sun hat. The video quickly went viral on Twitter as people thoroughly enjoyed his efforts to make sure he got into the UK's biggest festival.

This year the festival issued tickets with photo IDs on them to limit touting but this lad managed to use his imagination and has apparently made it in. Now people have heaped praise on the lad for his brazen attempt to get into the hugely-popular gathering.

One person commented on the story: "He has a ticket, bought it legit, just because it has someone else's photo on or not he should be allowed in. Anyway, 10/10 for effort lad us scousers are bloody genius when it comes to blagging."

Someone made the point of saying that as long as he has a ticket he should be allowed in. They said: "The big question is … does it matter, a ticket's a ticket."

People loved the story, with one person commenting: "Love this story brilliant." And another saying: "I have watched this 100 times, boss."
