Pensioner, 83, dies after being hit by lorry on Scots road

A pensioner has died after being hit by a lorry in Prestwick.

Police and ambulance crews raced to scene on Ayr Road around 9.25am on Friday, September 9.

The 83-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Cops have launched a probe into the fatal crash and a report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
