Penrith Panthers fans are in party mode after their team won last night's 'battle of the west' to secure the club's second NRL premiership in a row.
Hundreds of fans showed up at Panthers Stadium on Monday to celebrate the team's victory over Western Sydney rivals Parramatta.
The Panthers finished with a dominant 28-12 victory over the Eels at Sydney's Accor Stadium on Sunday in front of a 82,000 strong crowd.
The Panthers also took out the NRL NSW Cup, and the under 20s and junior completion this year, becoming the first team to win all four in the one year.
Fan Paul Pace and his family said they came out to celebrate the "great bunch of kids".
"[Coach] Ivan Cleary has done amazing with this club, the culture of this club is brilliant," he said.
"Last night was clinical footy, they're such a good young bunch of kids."
Unlike last year, there were no COVID-restrictions to hinder the celebrations, and fans also celebrated on the streets in Penrith well into the night.
Panthers superstar Nathan Cleary said he didn't get any sleep on Sunday night.
"I think it was pretty cool that Parra and Penrith were able to represent in the grand final," he said
"It's Western Sydney through and through and that's never happened before."
Coach Ivan Cleary told the crowd at Panthers Park they lifted the team every week.
"At the start of the year we had question marks. Could we be hungry enough? Was our attitude good enough to try and win another premiership?
"I hope you're all as happy as we are."
Prop James Fisher-Harris said they respect all players that have come before them, but they are the "greatest Penrith team ever".
Diehard fans Carlene Strauchan and friend Robin Williams said they were "so proud of the club".
"It was great to see all the grades, from the babies right through to see how they're going to progress through the different teams and ranks and hopefully one day play on the big stage too," Ms Strauchan said.
There was also a small fan event at Parramatta Stadium this morning for the Eels to thank their supporters.
The club lost both the men's and women's grand finals on Sunday and missed their chance to break a 36-year NRL premiership drought.
