Penny Lancaster says Rod Stewart is still full of ‘energy’ after heart surgery

Penny Lancaster has revealed her husband, Sir Rod Stewart, remains full of “voracious energy” following recent heart surgery.
The 81-year-old singer was forced to cancel several US tour dates in August after undergoing a coronary stent procedure.
Speaking on ITV's Loose Women, Lancaster said Stewart has returned to his daily routine, including visiting the gym three times a week and recording new music.
She explained doctors advised him to pull out of the tour due to the physical intensity of his live performances and associated risk factors.
Stewart previously reassured fans that he was on the mend and eagerly looking forward to returning to the stage for upcoming tour dates next year.
