Penalty fares on the DLR set to double this year

Penalty fares given to people using the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) without paying are predicted to double this year.

Transport for London (TfL) announced it was cracking down in April on fare evaders after data revealed that hundreds of thousands of people weren’t paying for journeys across the network each day.
