A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Croydon.
The victim, in his 40s, was involved in a serious collision with a car on Gravel Hill on Sunday about 6.35pm.
He was taken to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service and is in a critical condition.
The driver of the car, a Volvo V40, stopped at the scene. They were not arrested are are assisting police.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and appealing for witnesses to come forward following the incident.
