Reserve Boston Celtics floor general Payton Pritchard has been keeping busy this offseason ahead of a campaign that should see his role with the Celtics grow considerably. Making time to work on his craft, appear in pro-am games and NBA runs, and even host a basketball camp, the host of the “Our Bleepin’ City” podcast caught up with the West Linn native at the latter.
Growing up, Pritchard himself was surrounded by athletes, both in the pros and college, which motivated him to give back via his participation in the camp. The pair talk about Pritchard’s Flexworks Sports camp, the season ahead for Boston, his growing role on the team, meeting new teammate Kristaps Porzingis, Celtics fans, and what winning a title in Boston would mean to him among other topics.
