Patti LaBelle and Nicki Minajj are back in the same headline for all the wrong reasons, after a resurfaced clip of LaBelle invoking Minaj's name on stage began circulating online just as the soul legend's nephew and adopted son accused her of effectively making him homeless following a family dispute involving President Donald Trump.
The renewed spotlight on LaBelle and Minaj comes as Byl Holte, who is LaBelle's biological nephew and was reportedly later adopted by the singer, took to X to allege that a bitter family dispute over Trump left him suddenly forced out of her home around Christmas 2019, after living with her for 12 years.
