Patsy Palmer voted off Dancing on Ice after Spice Girls routine

Eastenders actress Patsy Palmer has become the latest celeb to be given the boot on Dancing on Ice after losing the skate-off to stand-up comedian Darrien Harriott.

Patsy landed in the skate-off tonight for the second episode in a row following a Spice Girls-themed performance for Icons Week.

The 50-year-old actress danced-off to Never Forget You by the Noisettes with partner Matt Evers. But their efforts fell flat as the judges decided to unanimously save Darrien and his partner, Tippy Packard, instead.

Patsy said after her elimination: "I've met the best people ever, we've been like one big family. I've proved I can and exceeded what I thought I can do."

Matt said: "When I first met Pasty on the ice I was like 'woah, this is going to be a tough one'. But you have turned out to be an absolute joy and I'm so proud of what you have accomplished through this and I have to say I've been around for 15 series, every beating heart in this room right now is a joy to work with."

This week's top scorers were Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson and partner Olivia Smart, came top of the table for a fourth time with a performance to Robbie Williams’ song Let Me Entertain You.

The second highest score was awarded to West End star Carley Stenson, followed by Drag queen The Vivienne, TV personality Joey Essex was on 33 points, comedian Harriott, and finally Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher.

Next week, the remaining skaters will take on a Hollywood theme for Movie Week.
