The New England Patriots announced they have released speedy wideout/return specialist Jalen Reagor from the practice squad on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, Reagor posted a now-deleted cryptic picture on Instagram of a Bugatti parked in a trailer park. There was no explanation for the post on Reagor’s end.
One has to wonder if he was referring to his situation on the Patriots’ practice squad. He started in one game for the team last season, and he even scored a 98-yard touchdown on a kick-off return against the Buffalo Bills.
Not long after the post, the Patriots announced they had released Reagor from the practice squad.
#Patriots WR Jalen Reagor with an interesting post on Instagram 🤔
You have to wonder if the veteran wide receiver is unhappy being on New England’s practice squad.

Reagor was never consistently involved on offense with the Patriots. The former first-round draft pick was used sporadically as a gadget option at receiver. But he never stood out in a receiving room desperate for a burner on the outside.
There’s no question that he brings an explosive element to his game that would benefit any offense and special teams unit in the NFL. Now, he’ll have a chance to seek out a new opportunity elsewhere.
