Patrick Clancy says he forgave Lindsay Clancy for children’s killings in first TV interview

• Patrick Clancy gave his first TV interview since his ex-wife Lindsay Clancy’s mistrial when he appeared on ‘60 Minutes’ on Sunday night.
• Earlier this month, 11 out of 12 jurors were ready to clear Lindsay of criminal responsibility, with the majority feeling that she was suffering from a rare condition called postpartum psychosis when she strangled her three kids in 2023, but a lone juror sided with prosecutors, leading to a mistrial being declared.
• In Sunday’s interview, Patrick said he forgave Lindsay for killing their three children, stating that “it was her mental illness that caused that”.
• Patrick also spoke about his battle with grief and suicidal thoughts after the loss of his children.
• Patrick was joined by his new wife Dr Rachel Danis for the interview, and he described her as the “most selfless and supportive partner.”
