Patrick Beverley found himself trending on social media Friday, and not for good reason.
The 35-year-old posted an empty stat line in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 123–122 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena, logging zero points, zero rebounds, zero assists and zero steals or blocks in 16 minutes.
The NBA world began making memes about Beverley’s empty outing, including the television home of the Lakers, Spectrum SportsNet.
Beverley saw the chatter and made sure to respond online.
“Crazy cardio last night,” he posted to social media.

In 12 games with the Bucks, the defensive-minded guard is averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 18.1 minutes per contest.
The loss to the Lakers marked Beverley’s first scoreless outing since being traded to Milwaukee by the Philadelphia 76ers in February.
He’ll get a chance to silence the critics Sunday when the Bucks visit the Los Angeles Clippers.
