Patients can book free Covid-19 and flu jabs – here’s who is eligible

Eligible patients can book free Covid-19 and flu vaccinations from 1 October via GP surgeries , pharmacies , or the NHS website and app.
Free jabs are available to individuals over 65, pregnant women, care home residents, and clinically vulnerable people.
Unpaid carers, Carer's Allowance recipients, and household members of immunocompromised individuals are also eligible for the free vaccines.
Dr Asiya Maula emphasised that vaccination helps protect vulnerable loved ones and prevents care disruption caused by illness.
Pregnant women are additionally advised to receive whooping cough and RSV vaccinations to protect their newborn babies.
