A patient has been taken to hospital following an incident in the Forest Hall area of North Tyneside. Emergency services, including the air ambulance, responded to the incident after reports of a fall in the local park.

A critical care team arrived just before 7.30pm and worked alongside the North East Ambulance service to treat a patient. The patient was taken to hospital by road accompanied with the air ambulance team.
A spokeswoman for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "Our critical care team were activated at 7.06pm to reports of a fall in Forest Hall. They arrived on scene at 7.27pm and worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat a patient. The patient was taken to hospital by a NEAS road crew, accompanied by our team."
