NEW DELHI: Australia's cricket captain, Pat Cummins, is eager to use the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 as a platform to transition into T20 mode ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup, scheduled to be jointly hosted by the USA and the West Indies in June 2024.

Cummins, who opted out of IPL 2023 due to a heavy international workload, expressed his excitement after being acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a hefty sum of Rs 20.50 crore in the IPL 2024 auction.
