Pastor and ex-Trump adviser resigns after admitting to child sexual abuse

A Texas megachurch said on Tuesday it had accepted the resignation of its senior pastor after he admitted to sexually abusing a child in the 1980s.

The church has also launched a formal, legal investigation into the matter.
