Passport belonging to missing X Factor star Levi Davis found by police in Barcelona

Cops have discovered the passport of the missing X Factor star and rugby player Levi Davis in Barcelona over two weeks after he vanished.

Levi, 24, was last seen on October 29 in The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona at around 10pm, after he left Ibiza with only a small backpack containing all his possessions. Now Spanish cops have revealed that they have found his passport in the city, reports the Mirror.

The Spain force say they are following up two unconfirmed sightings of Levi in the city.

His family were tipped off that Levi was at Placa Sant Agusti Vell, an area frequented by the homeless, on Monday. And the previous week, the same person is also believed to have seen him in another square, near La Boqueria Market - a few minutes walk away from the Irish pub where he was last seen.

However, his mum has now cast doubt on these sightings, after she visited Barcelona to retrace his footsteps.

Speaking to MailOnline, she said : "This is a very worrying development because you cannot do anything in Barcelona without a passport.

"Besides travel, you cannot book into a hotel or even rent somewhere without one. We know that his phone and two bank accounts have been untouched since he disappeared and so this is another blow.

"There have been a few sightings of someone looking like Levi near La Boqueria Market and the Arc de Triomf monument over the last week but sadly we are not sure it's him."

She says the family remain hopeful but are becoming "increasingly concerned" with each passing day.

It is believed he left Ibiza abruptly, with barely any cash, clothes or his passport.

He was wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, black trousers and black and white trainers.

Levi also hasn't used his bank cards since he vanished in Barcelona.

His mum told Spanish Daily ABC that this is unlike him to stay away for so long.

She said: "He would always come back or we would find him but it’s been 12 days now and this is not normal. He must be disorientated or confused."
