NEW DELHI: Team India's new head coach, Gautam Gambhir, starts his tenure with the tour of Sri Lanka, taking over from former coach Rahul Dravid after India's successful stint in the ICC T20 World Cup last month. Dravid extended his best wishes and shared his experiences with Gambhir in an emotional audio message.
The series against Sri Lanka comprises three T20Is and three ODIs, with Shubman Gill serving as vice-captain to Suryakumar Yadav in T20Is and Rohit Sharma in ODIs.
