LUCKNOW: BJP national general secretary D Purandeshwari said on Monday that a "Sashakt" (empowered) "Mandal" (division) comprising active booths was the basic mantra of the party's organizational structure.
Addressing the state office bearers at UP BJP headquarters, Purandeshwari asserted that the party should not slow down the process of expansion despite becoming perceptibly omnipresent in the entire country under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
"We have to work to connect people of every section and section of the society with the party by carrying forward the party's policy of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas," she said at a meeting which had the attendance of UP in-charge and National Vice President of the party, Radha Mohan Singh, state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh.
She said that the party needs to work at the booth level through `pravas' (stay), dialogue and coordination with the electorate. "BJP is getting the blessings of every section of the society due to the poor welfare work and public welfare schemes being done under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath," she said, underscoring on the need of ensuring that every eligible person should get the benefit of the public welfare schemes of the BJP government of the Center and the state.
Radha Mohan said that UP has always stood first in the discharge of organizational work in the entire country. He said that it is the result of the hard work of the workers that BJP is continuously achieving success in the state in every election. "But we still have to go further. Therefore, we have to discharge our responsibilities according to the plan of the organization," he said.
Meanwhile addressing a "Prabuddha Varg Sammelan" in Lucknow, Pundeshwar said only BJP is dedicating power for the service of poor welfare. Purandeshwari, who reached Lucknow on a three-day stay in UP, said that it is the result of this efficient leadership of BJP that India's status has got elevated all over the world.
Lauding the Yogi government, she said that once there was a fear of people leaving homes in UP, but the state government resolutely improved law and order. "This is being discussed not only in UP but in Andhra and the entire country," she said.
