The set on Loose Women started to fall apart during the show’s live broadcast on Wednesday leaving the audience and panellists both stunned and in hysterics.
As guest Paris Fury, 32, spoke about why her husband, boxer Tyson Fury, 34, couldn’t go on I’m A Celebrity..., the show descended into chaos as part of the backdrop fell apart.
Mrs Fury said: "Tyson did get asked to go in the jungle a few years ago and he would be awful.
“He saw a rat a few years ago and screamed like a little girl."
As she explained, a wall panel fell behind her suddenly fell giving her, the panellists and the audience a fright.
Host Jane Moore, tried to keep things proffesional amid the hysterics by continuing to read from the teleprompter, but it was to no avail as the audience descended into laughter.
Panellist Denise Welch, 64, joked: "No expense spared on this show. Oh God the scenery is falling down..."
Moore then chuckled and told viwers: “Sorry about that.”
This is the second time the set has crumbled on live TV.
A similar incident occured in July last year when a huge panel fell behind the panellists.
Coleen Nolan, who was in the middle of speaking, paused and said: "I’m not being funny but the budget on this show is off the scale.
Co-host Charlene White added: "Oh, that’s just part of the set... there it goes... Yep. The sticky-back plastic’s not working."
