Parkinson's patients in Ayrshire and beyond helped by flower power and flashing tulip system

Ayrshire Scottish Parliament

A team from NHS Ayrshire & Arran has successfully created a flashing tulip system - to ensure that people with Parkinson’s get their medication on time while they are in hospital.

Parkinson’s Nurse Specialist, Nick Bryden, a specialist nurse at Biggart Hospital, Prestwick, led the team.

And he’s already won an advanced project award from The Neurology Academy - thanks to his team’s ground breaking research and delivery of the scheme.
