Paris St Germain (PSG) have completed the signing of Uruguayan international Manuel Ugarte from Sporting Lisbon for a fee of €60 million ($65.32 million), with the defensive midfielder penning a five-year contract. The transfer was confirmed by both clubs on Friday.
Ugarte, a highly regarded talent, made his first-team debut at the age of 15 for his hometown club, CA Fenix. He later made the move to Portugal, joining Famalicao before catching the attention of Sporting Lisbon.
