Parish Hilton has revealed she questioned whether she was asexual for a number of years before meeting her husband Carter Reum.
The reality TV star, 42, opened up on her thoughts in a recent interview, saying anything sexual "terrified" her during her 20s, despite her reputation.
The hotel heiress was often linked with other big names in the industry before meeting Carter in 2019. Among those she was rumoured to have shared a connection with included Leonardo DiCaprio, Nick Carter and Adrian Grenier.
She has also been engaged four other times, with the last being to Chris Zylka after the actor from The One popped the question in January 2018.
However, she's now opened up on her past thoughts. Speaking with Harper's Bazaar, she said: "I was known as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me. I called myself the ‘kissing bandit’ because I only liked to make out. A lot of my relationships didn’t work out because of that."
And she revealed it was only on meeting Carter that she changed her mind. The pair met at a family friend’s Thanksgiving gathering in 2019 and she said she immediately felt a spark.
"It wasn’t until Carter that I finally am not that way,” Paris continued. "I enjoy hooking up with my husband."
She explained how her man is the opposite of what she had previously been used to in her search for love, saying: "He’s not famous. He’s smart. He comes from a nice family. He’s a good person."
The Simple Life alum added she now believes she's "getting what I deserve" as she continues to build on her life with Carter.
The pair tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2021 and welcomed their first child together via surrogate in January.
Revealing the child's arrival in a shock announcement, Paris took to Instagram to share a picture of her manicured hand entwined with her son's. She captioned the upload: "You are already loved beyond words."
Paris' mum Kathy had previously opened up on her daughter's tough journey to motherhood.
In an emotional interview with E! News she claimed Paris had been struggling to conceive for some time.
The 63-year-old said: "It breaks my heart because I know she is trying and trying and I always say, 'just relax'. So many people, they struggle and it doesn't just happen like that."
But Paris hit back insisting there were no fertility issues, before explaining she had been "stocking up" in order to get "tonnes of embryos" in the bank.
"I don’t know where she got that - it's never been a struggle at all," she fumed.
