Parents who co-sleep with babies must be advised on sudden infant death syndrome, experts say

Parents should be given safety advice about co-sleeping with their babies in order to raise awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), experts have warned.

It comes after research by charity Lullaby Trust revealed that most parents co-sleep with their infants at some point, which means sharing a bed or other surface to sleep on with the baby.
