Paramedics rushed to hospital after crossroads crash with Audi
Paramedics were rushed to hospital after a crash with an Audi at a major crossroads in Liverpool.

Merseyside Police first received a 999 call at 4.15pm on Monday, September reporting an ambulance was overturned on Church Road in Litherland. Once at the scene officers found the ambulance was involved in a crash with a while Audi A5 at the junction of Netherton Way.
The ambulance, which was on blue lights heading to an emergency incident at the time of the crash, was found overturned onto the drivers side. Two paramedics who were in the ambulance at the time of the crash were injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.

A man stabbed his ex's mum in the street 22 times before trying to run the critically-injured 67-year-old over with his car.
The grandma's arm was partially-amputated during a sickening and unprovoked assault by cocaine and vodka-fuelled Michael Moon, but she managed to roll out of the way of the oncoming vehicle - despite laying stricken on the ground with grave and life-changing injuries and still having the eight-inch knife lodged in her shoulder. Carmel Ratcliffe only survived the attack thanks to vital treatment from a neighbour, who happened to be a recently retired paramedic.
This afternoon, Monday, Moon was jailed for 22 years after admitting attempted murder. The incident came after he blamed his victim for the breakdown of his relationship with her daughter and subsequent difficulties with child contact.
Suspect named after man found with £5m drug haul on M6
A suspect has been named after a man was found with £5m drug haul hidden in the back of the van on the M6.
Motorway officers stopped a Ford Transit van near to Sandbach on the M6 on Saturday, September 3 at around midday. A man was detained and the vehicle taken to Merseyside.
Following a matrix search, around 75 kilos of suspected Class A drugs were found in blocks in a hide in the rear of the vehicle. Police arrested the man on suspicion of drug supply and he was taken to a police station for questioning.
Now, Peter Melia, 46, of Ballantyne Road, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and was due to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Monday, September 5.
