Former Arsenal and England star Paul Merson has backed Fulham to pile more misery on West Ham United.
The Hammers head into the London derby at Craven Cottage on the back of a 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Newcastle United on Wednesday night, their heaviest Premier League home defeat since the opening day of the 2019/20 season - a 5-0 loss to Man City.
David Moyes' side have a game in hand over the rest of the relegation rivals, although that match is against Pep Guardiola's City, but they are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference with ten games remaining

Next up for 15th-placed West Ham is a Fulham side who are aiming for a European finish. And though they are without talisman Aleksandar Mitrović who is serving an eight-game ban, as well as manager Marco Silva, Merson believes the Cottagers will still have too much for a 'struggling' West Ham.
"West Ham are struggling badly at the moment. I don't think they were great in their victory against Southampton, but the result did paper over the cracks. They were out of their depth at home against Newcastle," Merson said, predicting Fulham to win 2-0.
"Fulham are going to miss Mitrovic, but they have been pretty impressive this season. West Ham are all over the place at the moment, and I'm going to back Fulham to win this game."
